She is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Moore; and son, Matthew Aaron Jones, Murray. Mrs. Colson was born Oct. 29, 1943, in Almo, Kentucky to J. B. Jones and Stella Ernestberger Jones. She was a retired CNA and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Colson; son, Stanley Colson; sister, Norma Garland; and a brother, Asher Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Gail Colson, Murray; two sisters, Sharon Jo Jones (Dan), Murray and Ella Boren (Charles), Dexter; two grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Colson and Bradley Austin Colson; one great-grandson, Hunter Colson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Kee officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Cemetery.
